THERMOPAP analyses the energy consumptions in paper dryers.
Thermopap carries out a computer simulation of the existing paper drying processes (conduction and convection). This establishes the energy or “enthalpic” balance.
Thermopap has developed software based on the following physical principles:
-
The paper thickness is divided into small volumes. The mass and “enthalpic” balances are calculated for each of these volumes.
-
The different types of drying technology are represented using modules. These will define the drying limits for each side of the paper and the energy efficiency associated to each technology.
|
The computer simulation results are:
-
Temperature and moisture variation;
-
Evaporation rate;
-
Steam consumption and condensate flow per cylinder;
